children's ministries

At Valley Church, we know that the experience that your kids have is very important to you.  That’s why we’ve worked hard to provide the cleanest, safest, and most enjoyable experience possible for little ones.  After all, we’ve got kids too! We have a team of leaders and volunteers who prayerfully prepare weekly to give your child the best experience possible when they are here.  So please come, bring your little ones, and give our children's ministries a try!  We fully believe you won't regret it!

FOr who?

We have a dedicated team of volunteers for our kids ages 0-3rd grade. During both of our services, 9:30AM and 11:00AM, we provide an enjoyable experience for our nursery aged 0-4 and our older kids 5 years-3rd grade.


Our nursery aged kids will be separated by age: Infants (prewalkers), 1-2's, and 3-4's. There will be a plenty of play, reading, a Bible story from the Jesus Storybook Bible, coloring and activities.


Our 5 year olds-3rd graders will be together and our team will lead your kids through play, music, games, and a Bible lesson. 


On the 5th Sunday of each month (4 times a year), we have Family Worship Sunday. This is when our entire team of Valley Kids volunteers take a sabbath. All kids ages 0-3rd grade will join their family in the Worship Center for a shortened service that will be intentional to our younger ones.


We didn't forget about our 4th-5th graders. For our 4th-5th graders (Intermediate Group), we have a dedicated group that meets on Wednesday evenings from 6:30PM-8:00PM. This targeted ministry is designed to help them transition from Elementary to Middle school, while developing spiritual practices that will benefit them in the future!

what to do when we arrive?

Each Sunday morning, you will need to head downstairs to our Valley Kid's wing. There will be signs that lead you to the stairwell that is right next to the Welcome Center door(East side, gray canopy). At the bottom of the stairs is where you will check-in your children (ages 0-3rd grade). When you check in, name tags for your kids, a bag tag if you have a bag that you are leaving, and a security tag that allows us to check out your kids and know they are yours! If you are checking in for the first time, there is someone there to assist you in getting signed up! This process is for the safety of your children. It allows us to know more about your child and how we can contact you in case the need arises. When you need to pick up your child, go back to the Check-in desk, show them the security tag that printed when you checked your kids in, and they will scan it and check out your kids! The entire Valley Kid's wing is locked for the duration of our Sunday morning services.

We require that all kids who participate in our children's services are registered and checked-in by a parent or guardian for their safety and security. For new or visiting families, in order to enjoy a quick, smooth check-in process, please register in advance below.

mom's room

If you are a mom of a little one and need a quiet space during our Sunday morning services, we have a Mom’s room that you are welcome to use. This room is the first room on the right(if you are walking out of the sanctuary) in the hallway off of the sanctuary. There is a sign on the door!
