pray for someone Proud Christian day 4

Are you ready to wear your shirt today!?! As you get yourself ready, remember that prayer is your best and strongest tool not only in cultivating gospel intentionality within you, but also in planting gospel seeds around you. When you don’t know what to say, offer to pray! Prayer isn’t just powerful—it’s personal. When you offer to pray for someone on the spot, you’re creating a sacred moment that connects their need with God’s love. Even a 10-second prayer moment can have a lasting impact. James 5:16 says, “The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective." You might feel nervous to ask, “Can I pray for you right now?” But most people welcome the offer—and it may be the first time someone has ever heard their name lifted to God. Be bold and kind. Let the Holy Spirit lead.

Reflection: Does it make you nervous or scared to think about offering a 10-second prayer for another person? How would you respond if someone asked if they could pray for you? Chances are you’d be fine with it. Chances are they will be too.
